The 112 emergency phone number can be called free of charge from any and all landlines and mobile phones without entering the PIN code, and even if the keyboard is locked. The only condition of calling it from a mobile phone is that the device needs to hold an activated SIM card. The recipients of the call speak several languages. In the territory of Hungary you can still reach the police by dialling 107, the ambulance by dialling 104 and the fire brigade by dialling 105. In case of water emergency 1817 can also be called (for the time being free of charge with every service provider) in addition to 112. The number of the moral support service is the free 116-123.
