The ‘excellent’FADY ELSAYED is currently filming a leading role in CLASS, the new BBC3 spin-off of DR WHO. He was nominated as ‘Best Newcomer’ at the London Film Festival and as ‘Young British Performer of the Year’ at the Critics' Circle Film Awards for his leading and debut film role of ‘Mo’ in the critically acclaimed MY BROTHER THE DEVIL (HeyUGuys). Fady was selected by Peter Bradshaw as a ‘Best Supporting Actor’ awards contender in this ‘muscular and heartfelt…bold and terrifically confident’ independent film with David Rooney of the Hollywood Reporter singling out his performance as ‘strong’ and enormously appealing’.

On the 29th of August Fady will be seen in the key cast of Lionsgate’s highly anticipated BROTHERHOOD, the final installment in Noel Clarke’s HOOD film trilogy released on the 10-year anniversary of the release of KIDULTHOOD the hugely successful film that started it all.

Most recently seen in Channel 4’s THE ALIENS, for television, Fady took a guest starring role in an episode of the hugely successful BBC series DR WHO and played the role of ‘Aten Olama’ in BBC One and Netflix’s ‘near-perfect’ RIVER with Stellan Skarsgård, the brainchild of Emmy-winner Abi Morgan (THE HOUR and THE IRON LADY) (Michael Hogan, Daily Telegraph).  He also recently featured in BBC One’s CITIZEN KHAN, ITV’s LAW AND ORDER: UK and Showtime’s PENNY DREADFUL. His further film credits include the ‘beautifully realised and moving take on a British urban thriller’SIXTEEN (BFI) as well as TWENTY8K with Kaya Scodelario and Stephen Dilane.
