Abby joined Health Connect Properties, Inc. in 2015 as Director of Marketing & Leasing. She is a licensed real estate broker associate. Her responsibilities include showing available space to prospective tenants, generating and developing relationships with new prospects, and marketing all listings through both public relations and advertising.
Abby came to Health Connect Properties from HealthOne’s Swedish Medical Center (Level I trauma hospital) as its Marketing Manager. She worked very closely with the hospital’s physicians on all internal and external communications. This included launching an educational community seminar program, media relations, crisis communications, and service line growth. She oversaw all marketing efforts for the opening of a freestanding emergency department and Burn Unit – both of which saw higher than projected patient volume.
A 2009 graduate of Duke University, Abby played varsity basketball for the Blue Devils and earned three gold medals with USA Basketball. She received a B.A. in English and spent five years as a sports broadcaster and college coach; while earning her master’s in communications with a focus in public relations & marketing from the University of Denver.
Her ability to effectively communicate with teammates, coaches, and players led Abby into the field of communications. Her experience and success as a leader of her teams, and later as a broadcaster and coach, provided a strong base for her career in marketing. Abby is highly proficient and looks forward to the challenge of recruiting and developing relationships to market the services of Health Connect Properties.
Abby’s time is largely spent with her husband Jimmy, practicing yoga, running, reading, and botching the Italian language to the best of her ability.
