A must-see matinee matchup featuring the NHL's current top-three point producers, Jonathan Huberdeau leads Florida and ranks first in the league with 74 points, while Edmonton's duo of Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl are right behind him in second place with 73 points each.

SUNRISE, Fla. - The Panthers will look to bounce back from a rare loss at home when they close the book on their season series with the Blue Jackets at FLA Live Arena on Thursday.
Coming out on top during their two previous meetings this season, the Panthers followed up a lopsided 9-2 win in Sunrise on Jan. 15 with an 8-4 win two weeks later at Columbus on Jan. 31.
Since that second loss, however, the Blue Jackets have posted a 6-1-0 record.

by Jameson Olive @JamesonCoop / FloridaPanthers.com
SUNRISE, Fla. - Sometimes it's just one of those nights.
Suffering just their fourth loss in 27 games on home ice, the Panthers uncharacteristically saw a 3-1 lead slip through their fingers in a 6-4 loss to the Predators at FLA Live Arena on Tuesday.

SUNRISE, Fla. - Returning home following a triumphant road trip, the Panthers will kick off a five-game homestand with a matchup against the Predators at FLA Live Arena on Tuesday.
In first place in the Atlantic Division at 35-10-5, the Panthers, who have won each of their last nine games on home ice, lead the NHL in wins (23), goals (123) and shots (1,016) at home.
Following the mid-season break, this will be Florida's first game at home since Jan. 29.
Cats Forecast: Panthers return home after sweeping road trip
by Jameson Olive @JamesonCoop / FloridaPanthers.com
The Cats are finally coming home.
After returning from the break with three straight wins on the road against the Hurricanes, Wild and Blackhawks, the Panthers will play their first game at home since Jan. 29 when they kick off a five-game homestand with a matchup against the Predators at FLA Live Arena on Tuesday.
Following that tilt, they'll then host the Blue Jackets on Thursday and Oilers on Friday.
Q&A: Reinhart on a roll with Panthers
by Jameson Olive @JamesonCoop / FloridaPanthers.com
There are a couple inches of snow on the ground outside the hotel where the Panthers have parked themselves for two nights in downtown Chicago at the tail end of their latest road trip.
Finding two comfortable chairs in a quiet corner of the lobby following the team's practice on Saturday, Sam Reinhart and I sit down to talk about, among other things, how he felt skating in the 500th game of his NHL career less than 24 hours earlier during a 6-2 win against the Wild.
Aaron Ekblad Named NHL's 'Second Star' of the Week Ending Feb. 20
by NHL Public Relations @PR_NHL / NHL Public Relations
Aaron Ekblad registered 1-1-2 in each of his three outings to lead NHL defensemen in goals (3), points (6) and plus/minus (tied; +6), helping the Panthers (35-10-5, 75 points) open a five-point cushion atop the Atlantic Division on the strength of a perfect week. Ekblad (1-1-2) first lifted Florida to a 3-2 comeback win against the Carolina Hurricanes Feb. 16, scoring his seventh career overtime goal (and second of the season) to tie teammate Aleksander Barkov for second place in franchise history. He followed that with 1-1-2 in each of his next two games, a 6-2 triumph over the Minnesota Wild Feb. 18 and a 5-2 victory against the Chicago Blackhawks Feb. 20. The 26-year-old Windsor, Ont., native and No. 1 overall pick from the 2014 NHL Draft has skated in 49 total contests this season, ranking fifth among NHL blueliners with a career-high 47 points (13-34-47) while sitting fourth among all skaters (forwards or defensemen) with a +35 rating.
