Biography
Not much details about Verschueren’s life are known. He contested two sports at the first Winter Olympics in Chamonix 1924. Together with driver Charles Mulder and brakesmen René Mortiaux, Paul Van den Broek and Henri Willems, the Belgian bob earned a bronze medal. Verschueren also was a goalie in ice hockey, but the Belgian team was defeated in all three of its pool matches.
