Color: Dark brown, Black. Density: 6.05 Diaphaneity: Translucent to Opaque Habit: Acicular - Occurs as needle-like crystals. Habit: Striated - Parallel lines on crystal surface or cleavage face. Habit: Wedge shaped - Crystals shaped like a wedge. Hardness: 4-5 - Fluorite-Apatite Luster: Sub Metallic Streak: yellow
