The FCC does not require each antenna structure to be registered.
The "Determine if Registration is Necessary"
screen allows the user to enter and submit key information about their antenna structure in order to determine whether or not registration with the FCC is necessary. After
completing the form and clicking on the
"SUBMIT" button, the user then receives one of two reply messages:

NAD 83 Coordinates | |
Enter the exact
geographic location of the structure for which you
process a TOWAIR determination - entering both the latitude
and longitude in degrees (e.g., 42º), minutes
(e.g., 13'), and seconds (e.g., 10").

Structure Type | |
Choose the
appropriate structure type from the drop-down
list that contains the different types of antenna
structures.
Available structure types are:
*Valid Tower Arrays. The first NN indicates the number of towers in an array. The second NN indicates the position of that tower in the array (example: 3TA2 would identify the second tower in a three tower array; 14TA12 would identify the twelfth tower in a fourteen tower array.) **Valid Multiple Structure. The N indicates the number of structures where multiple antenna structures are present (example: 2TOWER, 3 TANK, 6BMAST, etc.) |
