Biography/Information:

  • Dave Causier is a nine-time World Champion and renowned as probably the most exciting player to watch.
  • A relentlessly quick scorer, he is able to mix from clinical scoring at the top of the table to more open play in a seamless manner, while also being able to pull out superb recovery shots when needed.
  • Causier is a regular winner of UK-based WBL events. In the 2018-19 season he picked up four titles despite not playing in all events, this included the UK Open (which he has won a previous three times) and World Matchplay double in Leeds. In 2019, he won 61 out of 62 matches played.
  • Causier was taught the game in the famous Teesside Boys Billiards League, his first major title was the English Amateur Championship in 1992, which he also won in 1993 and 1995.
