Darnassus is the faction associated with Darnassus, the capital city of the night elves. The High Priestess Tyrande Whisperwind and Archdruid Malfurion Stormrage reside in the Temple of the Moon.

Reputation[]

The zones of Teldrassil, Darkshore, Ashenvale, Stonetalon Mountains, Feralas and Thousand Needles offer many quests for gaining reputation with Darnassus.

Daily cooking and fishing quests that reward reputation are available in Darnassus. The fishing daily is given by Astaia^{[48.8, 61.0]} in the Temple Gardens. The cooking daily is given by Alegorn^{[50.0, 36.6]} in the Craftsmen's Terrace.

The Darnassus Quartermaster is Moon Priestess Lasara^{[36.6, 49.0]}, located in Darnassus at the flight path, just off to the side of the entrance portal into the city. At all reputation levels, she sells the  [Darnassus Tabard], which can be used to champion Darnassus for extra reputation in dungeons.

Reputation can also be gained by competing in the Argent Tournament (requires level 80) or by turning in Darnassus Writ of Commendations from the Molten Front (requires level 85).

Exalted with Darnassus is one of the requirements for achieving the title of Alliance Ambassador.

Rewards[]

At revered, Moon Priestess Lasara sells a unique 16-slot bag.

At exalted reputation, Moon Priestess Lasara sells level 35 cloaks, and non-Night Elf Alliance races are able to purchase and ride Saber mounts (Night Elves can ride sabers regardless of faction reputation). Darnassian sabers are bought from Lelanai^{[42.6, 32.8]}, at the Cenarion Enclave in Darnassus. Unarmored sabers are available starting at level 20, with armored sabers available at level 40.
