Lurking Soulstalker

Gargons (also pluralized as gargon) are Stoneborn creatures found in Revendreth. Chiseled in the image of things that go bump in the night, these vicious quadrupeds prowl the cobblestone streets of Revendreth to maintain order, by fear or force.[1] Gargons are crafted from stone and animated with anima. The venthyr use them as guards, pets, hunting companions, and fellow tormenters of souls. In the rare battles Revendreth has fought, gargons have been used on the front line against ground forces.[2][3]

As a hunter pet[]

Main article: Stone hound

Gargons are tamable by hunters as part of the stone hound family. In order to tame gargons, hunters must first learn the skill from Inv misc book 07 [Gargon Training Manual], a guaranteed drop from Huntmaster Petrus in Revendreth.

Trivia[]

  • Gargons use the bear animation rig.
  • Gargons were referred to as death wargs during development.[2] Their model was designed by artist Jongmo Nam, who—"inspired by some of [his] favorite old animations"—decided that the creatures should have the face of a bat and the body of a bear.[2][3]
