The Sea Reaver's Run.
The Sea Reaver's Run is the strait north of Icecrown, between the Northrend and an island called Hrothgar's Landing. Halfway the strait are The Wavecrest and The Firehawk, fending off the Kvaldir Harpooners, Kvaldir Berserkers, and the North Sea Kraken. At the southern end of the run are The Silver Blade and The Crimson Dawn, waiting to strike. Between The Wavecrest and The Firehawk is an unnamed kvaldir raiding vessel manned by Kvaldir Deepcallers, which control the kraken.
During the war against the Lich King, Kvaldir Deepcallers brought up krakens to attack any ship that tried to pass through the strait, while he Sunreavers and Silver Covenant both sailed their ships in these waters, they fought the kvaldir back from Icecrown's main shore and had to slay the kraken they kept summoning,[1] with the help of adventurers.[2]
Following the war against the Jailer, the brothers Bronzebeard reported that the kvaldir are still bringing up krakens to attack any ship that tries to pass through the strait.[1]
