Anvilrage is the name of the Dark Iron dwarven legion that lives in the Blackrock Mountain and Blackrock Depths. The army is led by General Angerforge.
The force is named after Anvilrage, who was one of the most powerful generals in the Blackrock Depths. Anvilrage's insignia—a flaming anvil—is visible on tabards and shields beneath Blackrock Mountain to this day, and many soldiers still bear his name.[1]

The Anvilrage are led and trained by General Angerforge in the West Garrison in Blackrock Depths. They form the most numerous group of the Dark Iron armies. With Dagran Thaurissan killed and his wife on the throne, it unknown if they follow Moira or not.
Cataclysm[]
This section concerns content related to Cataclysm.
The spirit of General Anvilrage is seen in the Athenaeum of Blackwing Descent.
Following the Cataclysm the Dark Irons and Twilight's Hammer increased their collaboration. Using the knowledge of the cult, the Dark Iron dwarves were imbuing their weapons with elemental powers, outfitting the Anvilrage legion with fearsome new weapons.[2]
