Chakras are a set of Holy priest abilities, available at level 56.
Chakras are mutually exclusive - only one can be active at a time. Each provides substantial improvements to a different area of the priest's abilities. In addition, each transforms [Holy Word: Chastise] into a different Holy Word, complementing the that chakra state. Each chakra is designed to help the priest to fulfill a specific role: damage-dealing, multiple-target, and single-target healing. Chakras have a 30-second shared cooldown, but are not affected by the global cooldown, and persist through death.
[Chakra: Chastise]:
- Increases the damage done by your Shadow and Holy spells.
- Transforms your Holy Word spell back into
[Holy Word: Chastise].
[Chakra: Sanctuary]:
- Reduces the cooldown of your
[Circle of Healing] spell.
- Transforms your
[Holy Word: Chastise] spell into
[Holy Word: Sanctuary].
- Reduces the cooldown of your
[Chakra: Serenity]:
- Causes your single-target healing spells to refresh the duration of your
[Renew] on the target.
- Transforms your
[Holy Word: Chastise] spell into
[Holy Word: Serenity].
- Causes your single-target healing spells to refresh the duration of your

Patch 7.0.3 (2016-07-19): Chakras have been removed.
Patch 5.1.0 (2012-11-27): Chakras now persist through death and zoning. Chakra state bonuses increased.
Patch 5.0.4 (2012-08-28): Chakra has been split to the individual abilities
[Chakra: Chastise],
[Chakra: Sanctuary], and
[Chakra: Serenity].
