Dawnstar Village is a village on the Isle of Quel'Danas. It was inhabited by Kael'thas Sunstrider's army of Dawnblade blood elves. The village also had wretched and demons of the Burning Legion infesting the areas around it. Not much history is known about this village, but Magister Ilastar offers a quest to kill Dawnblade summoners, Blood Knights, and marksmen to reduce their numbers.
By the time of the assaults on Azeroth by the Scourge and the breach of Icecrown Citadel to face the Lich King, the village was in the hands of Quel'Thalas. An adventurer carrying the 
[Battered Hilt] of Quel'delar can pass through the village, where they can see the village having changed hands.
