- O'Brien plays Dungeons & Dragons with fellow voice actors on the web show Critical Role, hosted by Matthew Mercer. Besides O'Brien and Mercer, other actors on the show who have had roles in Warcraft are Travis Willingham, Laura Bailey, Taliesin Jaffe, and Sam Riegel.
- O'Brien was given an Illidan statue by Blizzard.[5]
- He believes that Illidan may be his favorite role he has played.[6]
