A Spectral Cat can be found sitting atop a column at the entrance to the Hall of Sorcery in Maldraxxus.

Notes[]

• The Spectral Cat has the same model as Mr. Bigglesworth (most noticeably shown by its glowing icy whiskers), implying that it is (or was at one point intended to be) Bigglesworth's soul. In the Shadowlands alpha, the cat was located immediately next to Kel'Thuzad in the Vault of Souls,^[1] making the connection to Bigglesworth more explicit. However, in patch 9.1.0, Bigglesworth (explicitly named as such) appears as a slime cat in the Sanctum of Domination, making it unclear how (if at all) the Spectral Cat is related to him.
• The description of the Lucy pet states that the souls of all cats are sent to Revendreth. The Spectral Cat appears to be an exception to this rule.
• Unlike killing Mr. Bigglesworth in Naxxramas, which causes Kel'Thuzad to yell in rage, killing the Spectral Cat doesn't do anything.
