Stygia Dowser is bought from Ve'nari in the Maw for 1,500 Inv stygia [Stygia] for players at an Appreciative (exalted) standing with her. It is part of the Inv jailerhoundmount white [Bound Shadehound] acquisition.

The item allows the player to see Stygia Nexus on the minimap and loot Inv misc powder tin [Stygia Dust] and Inv misc apexis shard [Stygia Sliver]. There is also a puzzle hinted at by Stygia Residue at the Altar of Domination.
