5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Fun Movie - One of my Favorites
Reviewed in the United States on June 27, 2019
This is an excellent movie. After watching it, my reaction is always the same: I wish I could have been there during that time. There is lots of very well done character development that lets you easily relate to the characters and the plot. It also gives a view into a time in our past that has now disappeared due to overwhelming and stifling big corporation media dominance and also the current fear of disease and crime. Plus, it is shot in L.A. with some beautiful scenery and L.A.'s built-in craziness. Realistic? No...but close enough to make it really fun.
5.0 out of 5 stars excellent old school action and violence

Even though this is the old TV format of 4:3 this is the kind of exciting movie that I like to watch on my personal entertainment system. I like the shooting. I like the pursuit scenes. I like the punching and kicking. I got this from the recommendations row list. I am again grateful, Amazon Prime Video
3.0 out of 5 stars Another oldie but fairly goodie for Simon Baker fans
Reviewed in the United States on February 6, 2016
Here's another film for Simon Baker fans from before he became famous for his TV series The Mentalist. The story was too gritty for my taste with everyone passing around STDs (thus only 3 stars) but Simon was great. Loved his hair styling for the part. I have maybe 17 of the approx. 20 films Simon has made and he creates a totally different character for each one. He's a truly talented actor. A couple of his movies had really crappy story lines that make me very happy to see that Simon finally hit it big and made lots of money with The Mentalist. He earned his success after having to work in crappy films to make a living. I would say that the film "Women in Trouble" had to be the worst. I had to throw the DVD away it was so awful, even though Simon played his part very well. "Ring 2" was also a piece of crap. Given what new actors have to put up with to get a role it's a wonder any of them stick with it.
5.0 out of 5 stars Sunset Strip DVD

I am a fan of actor Tommy Flanagan, and it is hard to find this movie in any video store, so I was happy to see that Amazon has a seller who had it. I ordered it from the seller, who promptly filled my order and sent it out. It arrived in excellent condition, and that day I received it, I watched the movie. I would recommend this seller to any Tommy Flanagan fan who is looking for this movie.
4.0 out of 5 stars A cute little movie
Reviewed in the United States on February 4, 2018
A cute little movie, the reason I bought it is because the cable channel where it was running consistently hadn't been running it so much lately. So it was easier to buy it than wait for it to come around again.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very old film clips.
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on August 24, 2024
These film clips are very old, so lucky to have survived. The quality as you might expect
is not as good as you would expect from newer films. Don't be misled by the colour
photographs on the DVD inlay the film clips are all black and white.

3.0 out of 5 stars Ottimo per chi apprezza Jared Leto, film noioso
Reviewed in Italy on December 3, 2018
Noioso, racconta delle storie vere in modo abbastanza ironico ma non vale un granché... Da guardare solo per la (bella) presenza di Jared Leto, che in questo film si adegua abbastanza al (livello basso) del contesto..

3.0 out of 5 stars '70s par la petite porte
Reviewed in France on October 26, 2016
A bon entendeur !
