Craik, Georgiana. An English novelist; born in London, April 1831; died on Nov. 1, 1895. Her fictions are concerned with domestic life. ‘Dorcas’ contains some exquisite portrayal of character; ‘Riverston,’ ‘Lost and Won,’ and ‘Only a Butterfly’ are also good.
