The excitement over the debut of Joker's new apparent girlfriend Punchline is picking up steam, leading to the selling out of her two debut comic issues.

Punchline will make a single-panel cameo in Batman #89, by Tynion IV, Guillem March and Tomeu Morey, before making her first full appearance in the following week's Year of the Villain: Hell Arisen #3, by Tynion IV, Steve Epting, Javier Fernandez and Nick Filardi. With each edition's pre-sale count reaching its limits, DC Comics has decided to issue a second printing of each issue so more readers can get their first look at Punchline.

Not much is know about Punchline other than that she may serve as a replacement girlfriend for Joker. Tynion IV said that she will play a large role in the upcoming story, "Joker War."

Batman #89 serves as part four of the "Their Dark Designs" story arc. It will arrive in stores with a recolored version of its original cover by Tony S. Daniel. Year of the Villain: Hell Arisen #3 will feature a recolored version of its original cover by Steve Epting. Both second printings will be available on March 4.

DC's Batman #89, by James Tynion IV, Guillem March and Tomeu Morey, goes on sale Feb. 19, while Year of the Villain: Hell Arisen #3, by Tynion IV, Steve Epting, Javier Fernandez and Nick Filardi, goes on sale Feb. 26.
