X-Men: 10 Mutants Who Still Haven't Shown Up On Krakoa

Krakoa is one of the biggest changes to the Marvel Universe in a long time. With a population that potentially consists of every mutant to ever exist in the Marvel Universe, almost every issue set on Krakoa has a plethora of cameos.

However, there are some mutants that Jonathan Hickman and company have not included yet. Of course, Franklin Richards has been addressed, but there are more that are not reality-altering mutants. Nevertheless, here are ten that might just need to be addressed, even if it's just little more than a cameo. There are some mutants on this list that are currently dead, but that shouldn't be a problem for Charles Xavier at the moment.

10 El Aguila

El Aguila is one of those little-known mutants that never really affected within the X-Men family of books. Perhaps it was his image as a Zorro clone, perhaps it was that he tended to be more of a street-level hero with rather limited powers.

El Aguila could channel electricity from his body into conductive material like metal. That's the primary reason that he became a swordsman. He lost his mutant power in the Decimation event caused by the Scarlet Witch. That's no restriction for  Krakoa, though, as seen in X-Men #7. Of course, there's that issue of fighting Apocalypse to prove he's worthy.

9 Madame Web

Madame Web has been a character almost exclusively in Spider-Man books. She is a precog, which explains her absence from Krakoa. One of the big agreements that Moira MacTaggart made with Magneto and Charles Xavier was there were to be no mutants on Krakoa that could see the future.

The reason for this is that the experiment of Krakoa is doomed because of the evolution of humans with Sentinel technology. If there is a precog, specifically Mystique's wife Destiny, then mutants on Krakoa, now optimistic, will learn the truth.

8 Big Bertha

Big Bertha, a controversial character in Marvel Comics

Big Bertha is often ranked as an embarrassment among Marvel heroes. Her mutant power allows her to greatly increase her body's mass, specifically the fat on her body. To revert to her usual size, she has to vomit up all of that extra mass.

She has not died but has developed a successful career as a fashion model. Nevertheless, nothing is keeping her from relocating to Krakoa, especially since her career as a super-hero has never really been successful as part of the Great Lakes Avengers.

7 Mandrill

Another mutant that has never really affected the world of the X-Men, Mandrill is indeed a mutant and thus, theoretically welcome on Krakoa. However, like Empath, Mandrill would have to learn to reign in his impulse to control women with his pheromones.

Mandrill has never shown this quality. His entire life has been an exercise in being a criminal that preys on women. He has always strived to create armies of women that he controls. This has led ultimately to his apparent death more than once. His only lasting and genuine relationship has been with his sometime-partner, Nekra.

6 Nekra

Nekra Marvel Comics

Speaking of Nekra, she should be a prime candidate for the redemption of Krakoa. Krakoa has shown new roles for many former villains. These mutants have been powerful opponents for the X-Men in the past, and the redemption of Krakoa has given them new roles.

Nekra and Mandrill's original goals were similar to Krakoa, although not centered around mutants. She had fought with mutants in Utopia, so her absence in Krakoa is a little confusing. She should be visible, just to reinforce that there is forgiveness available for all mutants.

5 Harry Leland

The former Black Bishop of the Hellfire Club, Harry would be a prime candidate to join Sebastian Shaw's corner of Krakoa's new corporate venture. Of course, Sebastian Shaw has seen to surround himself with younger mutants, but his willingness to do anything without remorse should lead him to bring in old friends that have demonstrated such ruthlessness.

Of course, Harry is a little older and extremely comfortable in a life of privilege. This led to his death of a heart attack in battle with Nimrod. His resurrection is just not a priority for Shaw or Krakoa in general.

4 Diamond Lil

There were a large number of mutants associated with Alpha Flight. Northstar and Aurora have long since found a place among their fellow mutants and seen on Krakoa. Diamond Lil was a member of Alpha Flight that found redemption despite her use of tactics that served her interests first.

She joined the mutant community on Utopia but died battling the forces of Selene. She was buried at sea by an ex-husband with whom she had reconciled. She would be a prime candidate for resurrection by the Five, especially if that husband joins Krakoa.

3 Madison Jeffries

Madison Jeffries is another of the many mutants associated with Alpha Flight. He could manipulate machinery and electronics. He's a natural choice to pair with Forge to develop Krakoan technology. This is especially a good point given his work with Beast on Utopia.

His presence would also see him as an advocate to bring some of the mutants associated with Alpha Flight to Krakoa. His ex-wife, Diamond Lil is the first to expect to see resurrected, but there was also Flashback and Wild Child.

2 Rusty Collins

rusty-collins-firefist-versus-vulture

Rusty is a notable absence given that his character was adapted for Deadpool 2. In the comics, his effectiveness never quite became apparent. He was reckless in learning to use his powers and often found himself on the wrong side of the law.

Krakoa is a place for all mutants, and all crimes are forgiven. Rusty can be resurrected by the Five and his close relationship with fellow mutant Skids would set them  on track to help with one of the first laws of Krakoa, "Make More Mutants."

1 Molly Hayes

Molly, one of the Runaways, is a notable absence because of her very well-known presence by the X-Men. She's a very formidable mutant and one that the X-Men could use as much as she could use some training to overcome the limitations of her powers, namely increasing her endurance.

Most likely, her devotion to her friends is much of the reason behind her not appearing on the island. She's turned down the X-Men's offer to join them multiple times. She most likely would not pass through the gates any time soon.
