Do not disturb mode is also revamped. Now you can turn off pesky notifications for a specific period of time (like when going to bed).

Apple's going to help you fight your phone addiction with Screentime. This new app monitors how much time you spend on your phone everyday, and provides a report every week.

It allows you to set time limits for specific apps that you want to use less.

And sends you notifications when you've gone over your set time limit.

Screentime is also a useful tool for parents who want to monitor their child's iPhone use. "Downtime" is a feature in the app that blocks the phone from being used for a specific time period.

Apple introduced updates to augmented reality with ARKit 2.0.

A major emphasis of ARKit 2.0 is having multiple users in the same AR experience in real time. There can be up to four players interacting in the same AR at once.

ARKit 2.0 also works with your new lego set. Multiple users can interact with their Legos in the same AR environment: editing landscapes, adding buildings, and playing with AR characters on their devices.

There are even lego characters within the AR environment to interact with.

The measure app enables iOS users to measure objects with the iPhone's 3D camera.

By placing the object within the camera view and tapping on edges, the measuring app provides the real-life dimensions of the object.

Group facetime is finally a thing! Multiple people can join a facetime call at once. Whenever one person talks, their icon enlarges on the screen.

If you're not having a good day, you can choose an Animoji character or your personalized Memoji instead of your face for a facetime call.

There's a new tab on photos called "For you" which recommends photos to share with your friends. There's also a search engine that allows you to look through your photos for specific landscapes, objects, or people.

Once a friend with an iOS device shares photos with you, iOS 12 will search through your photos and suggest pictures to share back.

The stocks app is updated -- now mixing with Apple news. It includes today's top stories and business news alongside daily stock changes.
