Connecticut Sun announce TV deal with NBC Sports Boston

Fans looking to watch Connecticut Sun games will be able to find them on NBC Sports Boston this season. The team announced a two-year deal with the network, which will televise 31 games during the 2023 campaign.

The season opener will air on NECN on Friday May 19 at 7 p.m. ET, and NECN will also broadcast the May 23 game at the Washington Mystics (7 p.m.) but all other non-nationally televised games are scheduled to air on NBC Sports Boston. Games will also be streamed on the NBC Sports app.

“All of us at NBC Sports Boston are excited to be the home of the Connecticut Sun. This partnership helps us further elevate women’s sports, as this is one of the fastest growing audiences across all platforms, and we are proud to showcase this amazing group of talented athletes,” NBC Sports Boston executive Chris Wayland said in a release. “In addition to NBC Sports Boston, all the Boston stations of NBC and Telemundo will be working with the Connecticut Sun to showcase the great work of the Connecticut Sun on and off the court. This includes NBC10 Boston, Telemundo Boston, and NECN. We’re looking forward to a great season.”
