18.5 to V Kohli, drags the length back, swung in the air, down to wide long-on, and Kohli is done! It's been a significant knock, but is it the title-winner? All will be revealed. 163/5
3 | 0 | 23 | 2 | 7.66 | 10 | 3 | 1 | 0 | 0 | |
1.4 to RG Sharma, gone, what a catch this is from Klaasen! Rohit continues to try and put pressure on Maharaj. Floated up slow outside off stump - 77kph - and he stretches out to sweep. Middles it, but doesn't really smash it, because he's reaching for the ball - ends up hitting it in the air to the left of square leg, where Klaasen takes a good, low diving catch two-handed. 23/1 1.6 to RR Pant, is that two wickets in the over for Maharaj? Two wickets off the sweep? South Africa think so. The umpires are checking for a bump ball. Goes for the sweep against a very full ball, and ends up meeting it on the full, in fact, outside off. And he's a goner. Straight up in the air off the top edge of the toe end, and it balloons up behind him to de Kock. What a turnaround in the space of three balls, after India had run away to a flier. 23/2
4 | 0 | 36 | 1 | 9.00 | 8 | 2 | 2 | 2 | 0 | |
4.3 to SA Yadav, three down, and Rabada gets a huuuge wicket. Again, not necessarily a wicket-taking ball, and India's aggressive intent - which has served them so well through this tournament - goes against them. Steps across to a back-of-a-length ball angled in towards the stups, and whips it away, but close enough to fine leg for the fielder to move to his left and take a straightforward catch. 34/3

19.4 to S Dube, belted hard through the full length, that was travelling seriously quickly and Miller at long-off does well to judge his take, sliding into the ball as it arrives with high velocity. A useful cameo, but a handy dot as well. 174/6 19.6 to RA Jadeja, huge swing through the full length, wide of off, a steepling leading edge, and a good diving take at mid-off. South Africa close it out well, but that is a hefty score on the board all the same. 176/7

2.3 to AK Markram, got him, Markram has edged a big drive to the keeper! Wasn't a half-volley. On the fuller side of a length, well wide of off stump, the seam doesn't quite come out of the hand straight, and the ball doesn't swing back in. Just keeps going with the angle across, and Markram, going hard at it with a diagonal bat, gets a thick edge that carries at about ankle height to Pant, falling to his right. 12/2 12.3 to Q de Kock, did he even notice the fielder! De Kock goes for the shot once more, rocking inside the line to the angle into his body, but Kuldeep has dropped back onto the rope, and barely needs to move! It was hit well, would have gone for six unlike the previous ball, but that's a giveaway after such a doughty innings. 106/4

1.3 to RR Hendricks, has anyone bowled a better delivery in a T20 World Cup final? Wow. Reeza tends not to move his feet a great deal early on, and he gets out to the perfect outswinger. Perfect length to hit the top of off stump after angling in and veering away so, so late to beat the outside edge as Hendricks looks to defend with a straight bat. Beautiful. His front leg ended up planted in place, and his feet whrre unable to move thereafter, so he had to basically push his bat out in front of his boy to try and meet it, but a lot of batters may have been bowled by this ball even if they'd moved their feet. 7/1 17.4 to M Jansen, sensational delivery! Jasprit Bumrah is the bowler from the Gods! Pace, angle, length, lift, Jansen plays the perfect defensive block, and is bowled through the gate as the ball flicks the top of his bails! This is too tense to function. Pass me an umbrella to gnaw!. 156/6

8.5 to T Stubbs, Delhi Capitals gets Delhi Capitals. He'd stepped across once earlier this over to manufacture a boundary, but when he does so this time, Axar fires it full and at the stumps, and pretty much bowls him around his legs as he misses the sweep. Another big moment in a terrific, seesawing final. 70/3

16.1 to H Klaasen, wide line, gets the nick! The break in play did the trick! Klaasen reached for the slam through the covers, very full length, but his feet were stuck in clay. He's livid with himself as he departs, but what a sensational knock!. 151/5 19.1 to DA Miller, wide full toss flogged down the ground for the most sensational catch you can ever imagine! That is a moment for the ages, Miller connected well, but not well enough to take Suryakumar Yadav out of the equation. He hurtled round from wide long-off, clawed down the ball with barely two hands, toppling over the rope as he went, kept his feet inside the rope... and lobbed the ball back into play, and into his own cool-as-cucumber hands!. 161/7 19.5 to K Rabada, hoisted through the line, but not enough power! Rabada gave it full beans, hitting through the fourth-stump line, but they weren't full enough. SKY can't stay out of the action, and India are moments from the T20 World Cup!. 168/8
