The Fiordland Community Events Centre is a not for profit community facility run by a Trust, all of whom are volunteers. We are extremely fortunate to have RealNZ as our major sponsor until 2029.
Our facility is fully equipped to host many events large or small. We have an impressive sports stadium sized to cater for local sports such as netball, basketball, volleyball, badminton, indoor hockey and football. There is a 300 square metre climbing wall with routes for all abilities and a bouldering wall. Other parts of the facility cater for conferences, multipurpose/breakout meeting rooms, hall and stage areas. The Events Centre is a community facility that can cater for a wide range of events from small groups through to 500 people.

We have successfully held major trade expos, conferences and even a beer festival> With flexible access to other areas of the events centre and a variety of options for adjoining rooms the Stadium provides the ideal solution to your venue needs.

The stage is the perfect location to showcase your production to the onlooking town hall. Or maybe have an intimate setting for a small audience. It can also double as extra seating for the Town hall.

Suited best for presentations or for smaller groups the mezzanine has the added flexibility of a dividing barrier to split the room in two. With access to the balcony overlooking the stadium options for sporting and other events are endless. Might this be the press lounge for that extra big expo?!
The Mezzanine also has access via a servery to it’s own kitchen with an oven, hot water heater and microwave.

For informal presentations or board meetings the Lounge is ideally situated between the Town Hall and Stadium and has access to both. For smaller group functions the kitchen, with servers access, can also be hired.

Nearly 300 square meters of climbing goodness catering to all abilities of climber and offering regular climbing training opportunities.
There are routes for all abilities. 13 top-ropes, 3 auto-belays, and a mini-lead cave (as well as lead-able terrain throughout) making this a great place to learn how to climb or hone your skills.
The bouldering wall complements the roped climbing wall and lead cave, adding over 150sqm of rope-free climbing, and makes the facility hands down the awesomest non-commercial wall in the country. The wall is 4.8 metres tall and offers over 30 problems to test yourself on and caters to all abilities.

The Te Anau Tennis Club was born over 40 years ago and is currently in a period of substantial growth.
There are 4 Plexipave outdoor Courts in a picturesque setting. With regular competitions and coaching available, the Club is going from strength to strength.
