Hollywood's most recognizable stars have joined Mean Magazine's Cinemash, a new eye-catching video project. Mean's Cinemash playfully recreates scenes from prominent films – ranging from cult classics to Oscar winners, all with eyebrow-raising casts. The series is finally kicking off with Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt cinemashing the 1986 classic film Sid and Nancy. This is perfect because there is a scene in the upcoming 500 Days of Summer (which I've added below) in which they actually talk about how they're like Sid and Nancy. Now they actually get to play Sid and Nancy. You definitely need to see this.

500 Days of Summer is directed by up-and-coming filmmaker Marc Webb, of only a few music videos previously. The screenplay was co-written by first-time writers Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber. This first premiered at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year to a standing ovation. Fox Searchlight is bringing 500 Days of Summer to theaters everywhere starting on July 17th this summer.
