Rainbow Round Table 50th Anniversary Celebration (RRT) – Rainbow round table news

Join the Rainbow Round Table, the first professional LGBTQIA+ group in the nation, originally known as the Task Force on Gay Liberation, and later as GLBTRT, in celebrating our 50th year! Our 50th Anniversary Gala will be held at the Museum of Contemporary Art on June 28, 2020. This is a ticketed event.

Tickets are $50. You must be registered for the conference to buy a ticket through the ALA conference website.�Those not registered for the conference will�be able to purchase a ticket to the celebration, pending availability, at a future date.

If you are a student member and registered for conference:�In an effort to build a more inclusive event and minimize financial barriers for library school students, we are piloting a buddy program for student members of ALA who are also members of the �Rainbow Round Table.� If you would like to be considered for a free ticket to the 50^th Anniversary Gala �in Chicago in June, please complete the application�here�no later than April 1, 2020.
