Que serais-je sans toi?

Où serait-je sans toi raconte l'histoire d'un policier français Martin Beaumont, son premier amour pour une fille américaine appelée Gabrielle et l'histoire de son obsession et de sa poursuite d'un grand voleur d'art appelé Archibald Maclean qui est le pére de Gabrielle .
Cependant, en plus de cela, il y avait plusieurs morceaux de l'histoire qui semblaient plutôt peu plausibles. Par exemple, la fin quelque peu fantastique et Martin le flic parisienne quand il apartis en Amérique en quête d'Archibald ayant le droit de l'arrêter sur le sol américain. Je ne sais pas à quel point la combinaison de l'histoire d'amour / crime a bien fonctionné dans ce cas. Cela peut bien se faire, mais semblait plus comme une histoire d'amour qu'un roman criminel même si il y a beaucouq d'action .
C'est ma premiere lecture du Musso, il a un style simple facile à lire, j'ai aimé les citations utilisés et même certains passage, la roman n'est mauvaise mais ça reste une belle lecture avec le suspense qui nous offre Guillaume Musso

Est ce que je pourrais continuer de vivre sans ton regard, sans ta présence avec moi ??

Gabrielle la belle femme et l'amour de vie de jeune policier parisien Martin, ils ont vécu une histoire trop belle histoire d'amour précieuse avec une fin malheureuse et une séparation traumatisante quinze ans plus tôt.

Archibald McLean le célèbre cambrioleur de tableaux recherché dans le monde entier était la raison de cette séparation pendant des années, et la raison d'un défi entamé par Martin des années auparavant est tout simplement de le captiver le plus prochainement possible .

Le destin va réunir les deux amoureux de nouveau, et les faire confronter à leurs contraintes et leurs chagrins ... Toujours le destin aurai le dernier mot, le dernier sourire et la dernière surprise .

Trop beau roman je l'ai beaucoup adoré!

c'est parmi ma collection Musso reçue comme premier cadeau précieux de ma vie.

O poveste tipică Musso. Ce nu mi-a plăcut a fost finalul, dar povestea centrală a romanului e interesantă și reunește să te captiveze.Musso e un romantic incurabil, iar poveștile lui au rafinament și bun gust.

Simpatična priča, ali ništa posebno. Čitala sam i bolje Musoove (ako se tako piše) knjige. Pisanje na početku knjige prilično dosadno, ali se kasnije brzo poboljšava. Zaplakah par puta, moram da priznam. Stvarno zanimljiva ideja (i Arčibald zanimljiv lik) ali mogao je još malo da je razradi.

Solidan roman, nije baš kao ostali što sam čitala tipa Zato što te volim ili Ako sutra ne postoji, ali može proći. Elemenata fantastike ima minimalno i to samo pred kraj romana. :)

I really wanted to enjoy this book, it had all the ingredients of a fascinating story, the enigmatic cover of a woman alone on a beach, an unrequited love, a cop looking for a world famous art thief, set in France and the USA, obsessive characters …........ but in the end I just felt quite disappointed.

I thought the main storyline was too coincidental, it just didn’t feel plausible to me. If I said what it was it would be a huge spoiler.

I didn’t really empathise with the main characters either, Gabrielle, Martin and Archibald. I didn’t feel that I really knew them any more by the end than I did at the beginning. They didn’t seem to know what they thought and kept changing their minds so I didn’t know their inner mind workings, and therefore I found myself not caring too much about what happened to them.

I also wondered whether there was such a thing as product placement in a book? I lost count of the number of times a particular brand of fizzy drink was drunk, or a certain mp3 player was used, I actually found that quite annoying by the end.

I did think it was well translated though, if i didn’t know it was originally written in French, I wouldn’t have known, the writing flowed very easily and the dialogue seemed natural.

So, even though it was not my type of book I’m sure that some people would enjoy it, after all the cover reads that ‘over 1 million copies sold worldwide’!

Jednostavno obožavam kako Gijom piše (osim što ne volim kako ih završi nekad :D).
Puna prekrasnih citata. :)

Na początku w ogóle nie mogłam się wkręcić. Widać było, że jest to jedna z pierwszych książek tego autora, bo nie potrafiłam się wciągnąć w tę historię. Udało mi się to dopiero pod koniec i wtedy rzeczywiście się wkręciłam.

Pomysł na fabułę jest fajny, chociaż nie dzieje się tu za dużo. Nie polubiłam też jakoś bardzo bohaterów. Książka była po prostu dobra, ale nie wyróżniała się niczym szczególnym.

I did not like it.
The score I have given seems quite generous to me. And I gave it to him because at first I was really enjoying those parts of the thief hunt.
Those parts are the cop against the thief I liked them.
Another reason I am generous in the note is because near the end of the book there were things that surprised me.
As for the characters I did not like any. Yes, there were moments that I liked Archiebald and Martín but in general they were indifferent to me. As for Gabrielle don't connect with her.
In conclusion I did not like it and that the story it had caught my attention and there were parts if I liked it. But removing that I did not like anything.

No me ha gustado.
La puntuación que le he dado me parece bastante generosa. Y se la he dado porque al principio sí que me estaba gustando con esas partes de la caza al ladrón .
Esas partes se el poli contra el ladrón si que me gustaron.
Otra razón por la que soy generosa en la nota es porque casi al final del libro hubo cosas que me sorprendieron.
En cuanto a los personajes no me gustaron ninguno. Si que hubo momentos que me gustaron archiebald y Martín pero en general me fueron indiferentes . En cuanto a Gabrielle no conecte con ella.
En conclusión no me gustó y eso que la historia si que me había llamado la atención y había partes si que me gustaron . Pero quitando eso no me gustó nada.

Ieri noapte am terminat Musso, ,,Ce-aș fi eu fără tine?" A fost prima întâlnire cu acest autor și, sincer, nu știam mare lucru despre el. Aveam impresia că scrie thrillere, dar citind descrierea de la începutul cărții și văzând că el se prezintă drept romancier, am zis că poate e vorba despre altcineva, totuși. Nu pot nega că m-am bucurat extrem de tare când am citit cuprinsul și, mai apoi, prefața, gândindu-mă cât de norocoasă pot fi că am nimerit pe un teren cunoscut.

Cartea debutează astfel:

,,O cunoaştem cu toţii prea bine…

Singurătatea asta care ne roade când şi când.

Care ne sabotează somnul, care ne face zorile să putrezească.

E tristeţea primei zile de şcoală.

E atunci când el sărută o fată mai frumoasă în curtea liceului.

E Orly sau Gara de Est când o iubire ia sfârşit.

E pruncul pe care nu-l vom mai zămisli niciodată împreună.

Uneori sunt eu.

Uneori eşti tu.

Dar când şi când e de ajuns doar o întâlnire…"

Un mod minunat de a induce pe cineva ca mine în eroare. Am crezut că voi citi o poveste siropoasă, emoționantă. Nu m-am înșelat în totalitate. Cartea a avut emoție din plin, combinată foarte bine cu o acțiune interesantă și împletită cu un fel de intrigă amoroasă.

Îl cunoaștem pe Martin, care își pierde iubirea vieții în urmă cu treisprezece ani. Atunci, suferind, decide că nu va mai fi niciodată pradă, că se va transforma în vânător. Alege meseria de polițist - un parcurs greu, dur. Se perfecționează, trecând la Oficiul Central pentru lupta împotriva traficului de bunuri culturale (abreviat ca OCBC). Dezvoltă o adevărată ,,pasiune" față de un renumit hoț de obiecte de patrimoniu, Archibald McLean, cu o reputație în această lume, un tip care niciodată nu greșește. Dar Martin e convins că va greși cândva, și că el va fi acolo să îl aresteze. Numai că nu se va întâmpla la prima întâlnire. Poate nici la următoarea.

Printr-o serie de întâmplări vechi și noi, Martin se reîntâlnește cu Archibald, dar și apariția marii lui iubiri pierdute începe să-i dea bătăi de cap. Cumva, e o legătură mult mai mare între ei trei. Când o descoperă, Martin va deveni mult mai pornit. Însă iubirea, rănile vechi, orgoliul, toate se vor amesteca și Martin va rămâne doar o victimă a alegerilor. Și nu vor fi neapărat ale sale.

Recomand cu mare drag. Mie mi-a plăcut în mod special partea a treia, am găsit-o foarte interesantă.

1995. je godina u San Franciscu. Ljeto koje će Martinu i Gabrielle donijeti ljubav. Ali kao i sve ostalo i ljeto će završiti, Martin će se vratiti u Pariz, uz obećanje da će njegova ljubav trajati vječno. Ali hoće li biti baš tako?
2008. godina – Pariz. Martin je postao policijski inspektor koji se iz Odjela za narkotike seli na teren vezan uz umjetnine, gdje već godinama pokušava uloviti poznatog kradljivca umjetničkih djela Archibalda McLeana. Put će ga ponovo nanijeti u San Francisco i njegovoj prvoj ljubavi.

Ovo je prva knjiga pročitana od ovog autora, znam da su neki čitatelji tvrdili kad pročitaš jednu, sve ostale su deja vu. Jer princip je isti, a sve ostalo nijanse, a to je red ljubića, red fantastike...
Sve to ostaje da vidim, a u ovu sam knjigu zaronila do dna, ne utopivši se. Dapače, ljubiće volim, samo da nisu sladunjavi i patetični. Musso je to dobro iskoristio, u ljubavnu priču je ubacio elemente krimića, što mi se jako svidjelo jer me odmah podsjetilo na priče o nekadašnjem kradljivcu umjetnina Arsenu Lupinu. Na kraju je ubacio i djelić fantastike što me nimalo nije zasmetalo, osobno mi je dodatno začinilo priču, a priznajem i rasplakalo. Ali ne bojte se, znate da ja plačem i na crtiće, tako da svakako preporučam da čitate. Ono što sam zapravo najviše htjela otkriti jest kako će iz pera jednog muškarca izgledati ljubav. Ispalo je super, Musso je jedan vrlo romantičan lik, taman koliko treba, a o onoj naprijed navedenoj patetici nema ni spomena, tako da ću sigurno nastaviti čitati njegove knjige. Ono što mi se također jako svidjelo je da svako novo poglavlje započinje s citatom neke poznate osobe, meni se najviše svidio ovaj, i s tim ću i završiti:
„Sudbina obično čeka već iza ugla. Kao lopov, kurva ili prodavač srećaka: njezina tri najčešća utjelovljenja. Ali u kućne posjete ne ide. Treba učiniti tih nekoliko koraka.“ (Carlos Ruiz Zafon)

Kao veliki ljubitelj Musoovog stvaralaštva, mogu reći da mi je ovaj roman daleko manje legao od, primera radi, Ostani kraj mene, ili Devojka od papira. Nije u pitanju ideja, već neki propusti u samom toku pripovedanja koji umeju ozbiljno da zasmetaju.
Iako volim primese fantastike u Musoovim knjigama, ovde je taj dodatak, po mom mišljenju, suvišan i isforsiran, dodat kako bi popunio neke nedorečenosti iz prve polovine romana. Znači, minus za finale.
Zamerka i na nedorađenosti likova, posebno protagonistkinje koja je toliko "u drugom planu" da na kraju knjige imam utisak da je tek tu da popuni prazninu jer pisac nije imao ideju za dalji tok radnje. Muso u ovom romanu ima običaj da u priču uklopi neki sporedni lik i krene da pripoveda njegovu životnu priču, a ne dovrši je, što je nedopustivo. To mu se nije dešavalo u gore pomenutim romanima.
Ostalo je zadovoljavajuće. Puno akcije, napetosti, jurnjave... tipičan Musoov stil, nimalo statičan.
Do kraja sam vagao, 3 ili 4... ipak neka bude jača trojka. Čuvaću četvorke i petice, ima još Musoovih romana koje tek treba da čitam.

“Uneori, încerci să te pedepsești pentru ceva, fără ca tu însuți să știi prea bine de ce…”

"știi că este iubire adevărată atunci când singura persoană care îți poate face bine este cea care te-a rănit". O lectură ușoară și captivantă care te face să crezi iar în iubire.

أحدث الروايات المترجمة للروائي الفرنسي غيوم ميسو أصدرها لنا المركز الثقافي العربي في نهاية العام الماضي ٢٠٢٤ وذلك بعد مرور ١٥ عاماً من صدور الرواية بلغتها الأصلية.

كعادة المؤلف دائماً في رواياته تدور الأحداث بين فرنسا والولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، رواية في زمن لم تسيطر عليه التكنولوجيا ووسائل التواصل الإجتماعي فجاءت بسيطة وخفيفة وجميلة.. مناسبة لقراءة سريعة.

بإختصار هي حكاية الشرطي الباريسي مارتن وملاحقته لـ أرشيبالد ماكلين سارق اللوحات والمقتنيات الفنية الأكثر شهرة في أنحاء العالم بين فرنسا وصولاً إلى سان فرانسيسكو حيث تقاطع طريقه من جديد مع امرأة حياته بعد مرور خمسة عشر عاماً على لقائهم الأخير، هل هي صدفة أم قدر أو هي مكيدة للإيقاع بالشرطي بعد أن أنهى حياته العملية🤔؟!.

لمعرفة ما حدث يجب عليكم قراءة الرواية😉🤭، مناسبة جداً لمن يعاني من فتور بالقراءة أو بالاستراحة بين القراءات الدسمة وإن كانت ليست أروع ما كتب غيوم ميسو ولكن لا بأس بها أبداً🤗. طبعاً عشاق روايات غيوم ميسو مثلي😎 لا تتردوا في قراءتها أبداً🤩👌🏻.

ترجمة سلسة بها أخطاء مطبعية قليلة ولكن ليس لها اي تأثير على سير الرواية.

راقت لي واستمعت كثيراً بالمطاردة بين الشرطي واللص🥰✌🏻.

¿Qué sería yo sin ti? me ha gustado más de lo que esperaba. Pensaba que la historia sería diferente a lo que ha sido. Debo decir que la primera parte del libro se me ha hecho un poco larga, porque nos cuenta cómo Martin (nuestro prota) va tras de un ladrón de cuadros. Pero después... me ha sorprendido, la verdad y puede ser que por eso me haya gustado.

Me esperaba una historia de amor muy bonita (según el prólogo) pero en realidad el libro no trata mucho el amor. Sí que está presente, porque Gabrielle y Martin se quieren como nadie y su historia es bonita y trágica, pero se centra más en otras cosas. Como en la relación entre Martin y el ladrón de cuadros, el cual es el padre de ella. Y cuál fue mi sorpresa al ver que el malo era el padre de ella y el poli Martin y no al revés!!

Gabrielle y Martin... Sabemos más de él que de ella. Los dos se conocieron jóvenes, se enamoraron y se separaron. Quince años después, se vuelven a encontrar. Y aquí es donde digo que no trata mucho la relación de los dos, porque solo se nos muestra el inicio de la misma en el prólogo y ya después, creo que es al final de la segunda o principios de la tercera parte cuando se vuelven a encontrar. Y ya. Porque se reconcilian y al poco Martin y el padre de Gabrielle se tiran por un puente y desde ahí se nos cuenta la vida de los dos desde una especie de aeropuerto, ya que los dos están en coma... Hasta el epílogo.

Y aunque no sea muy fan de libros que no tengan amor o romance y cosas así, ¿Qué sería yo sin ti? me ha gustado. No sé. Es recomendable porque se lee en un periquete y el autor tiene una forma de escribir preciosa.

Arrisco-me a dizer que este foi o melhor livro que li de Musso. Um livro envolvente que me deixou mesmo ligada a ele talvez porque tem um pouco de investigação, mas também porque explora uma parte bonita da morte, que talvez todos gostaríamos que existisse.
Musso apresenta-nos uma personagem feminina que encontra pela primeira vez o amor ao lado de Martin, um homem que também ele é arrebatado pela amor de Gabrielle. Por ela seria capaz de deixar tudo e de voltar atrás nas decisões que havia tomado anteriormente. Destinado a sair de São Francisco e retornar a Paris, Martin só precisava de um pequeno retorno por parte da sua amada para que esse amor fosse alimentado, mas estranhamente, Gabrielle não responde a nenhuma das suas cartas e o amor acaba por ficar adormecido vivendo cada um relações fugazes, ela em São Francisco, ele na cidade Luz.
Em doze anos tudo muda nas suas vidas. Martin é um polícia frustrado porque tenta, em vão, apanhar o maior ladrão de arte da actualidade. Sem saber o destino do famoso ladrão e da sua amada estão interligados…

Прекрасный язык, интересная фабула... но увы, разочаровалась в героине. Поступки Габриэль показались крайне нелогичным (почему Мартен должен был ее искать п��сле неудавшегося свидания? На его месте я бы тоже решила, что больше не нужна человеку. Если она так безумно его любила - почему сама ни разу за 13 лет не попыталась найти его? Просто - почему он все время ей обязан?), поведение - инфантильным (ощущение, что героиня просто упивалась своими страданиями). Какое право имел Арчи читать нотации Мартену, если сам только перед смертью удосужился поговорить с дочерью, если знал, что происходит в ее жизни, но ничем не помог, предпочел поиграть в кукловода?

К сожалению даже прекрасные описания и размышления не исправили впечатления от сюжета. Жаль, первую половину книги я наслаждалась повествованием, но вторая перечеркнула это удовольствие.

Obožavam knjigu završiti sa velikim osmijehom na licu. Malo je reći da mi se je ova svidjela, definitivno jedna od najljepših u mnoštvu pročitanih.Točni opis žanra je romantični triler sa elementima fantastike. Napeto od prve do zadnje stranice, tužno , romantično i još mnogo drugih emocija. Predivno do samoga kraja,

" Više se bojimo svoje svjetlosti nego svoje sjene. Ti se, mali, ne bojiš svojih mana nego svojih vrlina. Zastrašujuće je pomisliti da imaš puno aduta u rukavu, zar ne? Toliko je sigurnije plutati u prosječnosti i proklinjati cijeli svijet...."

Man merkt, dass es hier wieder ein älterer Musso ist. Hier fehlte der absolute Pepp, die Spannung etc. Eigentlich eine reine, ziemlich verkitschte Liebesstory, die die Realität irgendwann verlässt. 2,5 Sterne

Très bon livre! Les 100 dernières pages étaient surprenantes et déchirantes! J’aurais mis 5 étoiles si le milieu du livre n’etait pas aussi long et vide de contenu

Malo razvučen početak radnje, inače sasvim solidna priča. Ovo mi je četvrta njegova pročitana knjiga i definitivno ne tako dobra kao ostale.
Ali sveukupan dojam, vrijedna je čitanja.

So if you've read some of my other reviews you will know I'm fairly big on recommendations for books by other people. I'm always open to trying new authors when people tell me about them. Which is how I came to find out about Musso. There was only one slight problem here. This author doesn't have to many books translated in to English. And my friend who isn't English had read a bunch of his books that where much more in the crime genre and haven't been translated yet. But I figured she loved his work so much that what the heck I'd pick it up and give it a go.

Musso's ability to create enticing character is one you have to give him credit for. The star crossed lovers is one that's been written about since Shakespeare. Martin and Gabrielle starts out as teenagers in love but for reason unknown to Martin things don't work out the way he hopes. There love is like that of all people their age. It burns hot and fast and then is gone. Martin is the epitome of the tortured soul for ever carrying a flame for his lost love. Whilst Gabrielle seem to be trying to put right what once went wrong. Throwing in Archibald is like the chaos element of the story. The characters come of well and are whole enough to give the story meaning.

The authors writing is quick and light. He manages to create this world that harks back to films of the sixties. The intrepid cop on the hunt for and elusive art thief comes out like some mix of James bond and the Thomas crown affair. I like his style very much and he manages to present us with this magical world. Now this is not one for the die hard crime fans. The romance plays out in the for front of everything that happens through out the story. And while some time is spent on the crimes of Archibald this is not what is most on the authors mind. I feel this book could only really have been written by a French author or possible one from south America. The prose are slightly over the top and whimsical. Also at times the story stretches in to fantasy. But in this case it fits the story. And who doesn't like a bit of escapism. He speak about love as this mythical creature which I don't think really exist in the real world. it does however makes for and entertaining story.

This book come from a genre I don't normal look to pick up. I'm much more in to the dark and dirty side of crime. But in this case it was a nice detour from my usual fair. It doesn't take to long to make your way through the pages. And I found my self having to smile when it got to the end . He is an author I would be inclined to return to in the future.
