Student Prize - HealthSense
The 2025 Caroline Richmond Student Prize is now OPEN!
In 2024 the competition was renamed the Caroline Richmond Student Prize in memory of one of our founder members, the brilliant and courageous medical journalist, who died the previous year. We thank Caroline’s husband for agreeing that we can honour our dear friend in this way.
The Caroline Richmond Student Prize is sponsored by the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
The aim of the competition is to test your research skills by asking you to evaluate four hypothetical research protocols and rank them in order of quality.
Entries are invited from two groups of students:
- Medical and dental students
- Students of nursing, midwifery and professions allied to medicine
In each group there is a first prize of £500 and up to five runner-up prizes of £100.
Entries must be submitted before 23:59 BST on Wednesday 30 April 2025. Entries received after that time will not be considered.
The Caroline Richmond Student Prize is open to students from all nationalities, living in any country worldwide.
