Irina Gorovaia was born in the Soviet Union on June 13, 1989 to a Russian Jewish mother and Ukrainian father. During her childhood she moved to Brooklyn, NY. In junior high school, Gorovaia started her acting career. Along with acting, Irina is a dancer. She made her acting debut in The Royal Tenenbaums (2001). Since then Irina has received her BA in Philosophy, and started her own production company, with her partner Jason Abrams called Zona Pictures. Irina believes in the power of kindness and that there are many ways to tell a story.
