Tomasz Kot is a Polish actor who studied at the National Academy of Theatre Arts in Krakow. He made his theatre debut on the stage of the Dramatic Theatre in Legnica in Stanislaw Ignacy Witkiewicz's play "Narkotyki". He gained popularity by portraying singer Ryszard Riedel in the movie Skazany na bluesa (2005) and for his role as Zbigniew Religa in the movie Bogowie (2014), for which he received the Polish Film Award for Best Actor. He also starred as Wiktor in Zimna wojna (2018), earning him a nomination for best actor by the European Film Awards.
