Cop Out - Internet Movie Firearms Database - Guns in Movies, TV and Video Games
The following weapons were used in the film Cop Out:
Handguns
Glock 17
Detective Paul Hodges (Tracy Morgan) carries a Glock 17 as his sidearm. Other officers are seen with Glocks as well.
Det. Barry Mangold (Adam Brody) shown with a holstered Glock 17.
SIG-Sauer P226
Det. Jimmy Monroe (Bruce Willis) is seen with a SIG-Sauer P226R.
Monroe (Bruce Willis) pulls the SIG. (If you look closely you can just barely see the double stack bulges on the frame). This is accurate, as NYPD authorizes the P226 R for carry; however the version authorized has a DAO trigger... unlike the weapon used in the movie.
Kahr K9 Stainless
The Thug from the Cell Phone Store uses a stainless Kahr K9 during the Subway shootout.
Ruger GP100
Laura (Susie Essman) pulls a stainless Ruger GP100 revolver out of her handbag when she finds out there might be an intruder in her home.
Jericho 941
A IWI Jericho 941R is carried by several of Poh Boy's thugs.
Beretta 92FS
A Beretta 92FS is given out.
Assorted Handguns
Paul Hodges suits up with a lot of guns at some point in the film.
Rifles
SIG SG 552 Pistol
Several of Poh Boy's thugs are seen armed with what seem to be SIG SG 552 Pistols.
SIG SG 552 - 5.56x45mm. The ones in the film appear to be the civilian pistol version do to the fact they lack stocks and have a top receiver rail (probably with a flip up pop-sickle stick style rear sight in the rail)
A short barreled SIG 556 with fixed hooded front sight, but leave it up to gang bangers to not flip up the pop-sickle stick style rear sight. A two-tone pistol held by the thug on the further right could possibly be a SIG pistol.
Submachine Guns
Micro Uzi
A Micro Uzi is used in a cell phone store holdup.
Shotguns
Remington 870
Poh Boy (Guillermo Díaz) holds Gabriela hostage with a shorted Remington 870 modified with a Shortened Aimtech Warhammer Rail System, pachmayr Vindicator grip, and a cropped UTG Tri-rail aluminum Forend to allow the shell to eject properly from the ejection port. it is the only highly customized gun in the movie.
Trivia
In "Green Band" trailers (approved for all audiences), characters are not allowed to point guns at other characters in the same frame. Quite often, the character's weapon will be erased with computer graphics in order to comply with the ratings. Other examples can be seen with the trailers for Iron Man and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
From the "Green Band" trailer, note how Tracy Morgan seems to be making a fist instead of holding a gun on Seann William Scott.
