Dumb and Dumber is a 1994 buddy comedy feature directed by the Farrelly brothers and starring Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels as dim-witted friends who embark on a road trip to return a briefcase to a woman, not knowing that the briefcase contains ransom money. The film would spawn an animated series, the 2003 prequel Dumb and Dumberer, as well as the 2014 direct sequel Dumb and Dumber To.
