Handguns
Glock 23
Boston PD Detective Thomas Craven (Mel Gibson) carries a Glock 23 as his main sidearm throughout the film. He uses it on multiple occasions, most notably to dispatch some of Northmoor's private security personnel working for Jack Bennett (Danny Huston). When Craven enters David Burnham's (Shawn Roberts) apartment, the "23" slide markings are clearly visible. The Glock 23 is also the real life issue weapon of Boston Police Department's officers and detectives.

Craven comes knockin' on David Burnham's (Shawn Roberts) apartment door. Note in this shot we can see the slide markings '23', 'AUSTRIA', and '.40', which confirm the gun as a Glock 23. Also note the depressed trigger, indicating the weapon has not been made ready.
This is not a preferable method for Law Enforcement to enter a room or building, as a suspect lying in wait could easily grab the gun before the officer is through the door - which is exactly what happens to Craven.
"Like your name and what you're doin' here" - Craven aims his Glock at Darius Jedburgh (Ray Winstone).
Springfield Armory Ultra Compact
Thomas Craven (Mel Gibson) finds a Springfield Armory Ultra Compact with Hogue rubber grips in Emma Craven's (Bojana Novakovic) bedroom. The pistol belongs to Emma's boyfriend David Burnham (Shawn Roberts). Craven later gives this pistol back to Burnham to protect himself.
Craven (Mel Gibson) discovers the Ultra Compact in Emma's nightstand.
A production still of Craven showing the Ultra Compact to David Burnham (Shawn Roberts).

Heckler & Koch P2000SK
Darius Jedburgh's (Ray Winstone) main sidearm is a Heckler & Koch P2000SK. He uses it a few times, most notably at Senator Jim Pine's (Damian Young) house.
A production still shows Darius Jedburgh (Ray Winstone) holding his gun.
SIG-Sauer P220R
Northmoor's private security personnel, including Jack Bennett's bodyguards Agent One (Frank Grillo) and Agent Two (Peter Epstein) all carry SIG-Sauer P220R pistols as their sidearms. Thomas Craven (Mel Gibson) also takes one from Bennett's driver and uses it to threaten him.
"What does it feel like?" - Note the lack of frame-bulge in this shot, indicating this gun is a P220R and not a P226.
Smith & Wesson Model 19 Snub Nose
Jack Bennett (Danny Huston) uses what appears to be a Smith & Wesson Model 19 Snub Nose during the climax shootout.
Glock 17
A Massachusetts state trooper briefly uses a Glock 17 in one scene. The theatrical poster also shows Thomas Craven (Mel Gibson) wielding a full-size older 2nd Generation Glock 17 (noted by the lack of accessory rail), though he does not use this particular Glock model in the film.
Shotguns
Sawed-Off Double Barreled Shotgun
A Sawed-Off Double Barreled Shotgun is used by Agent One (Frank Grillo) at the beginning of the film. This shotgun is also seen on a dead hitman's table.
