Godzilla is the 2014 American "re-imagining" of the Japanese monster film franchise. The film was directed by Gareth Edwards and the cast includes Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Bryan Cranston, Ken Watanabe, Juliette Binoche and Elizabeth Olsen. This feature marked the beginning of the Warner Bros. "MonsterVerse," which includes 2017's Kong: Skull Island, the 2019 sequel Godzilla: King of the Monsters in addition to the 2021 crossover film Godzilla vs. Kong, which pitted the kaiju against perhaps his most famous rival.
The following weapons were used in the film Godzilla (2014):
Handguns
Beretta 92FS
US military personnel in the film, including Lt. Ford Brody (Aaron Taylor-Johnson), carry the Beretta 92FS (standing in for the Beretta M9) as their sidearm. Brody draws his pistol to protect himself from the female MUTO.
Rifles/Carbines
M4A1
The M4A1 is carried by the majority of the US military seen in the film including Lt. Ford Brody (Aaron Taylor-Johnson). While on the train, the M4 he uses is configured with an EOTech 552 sight and AN/PEQ-2 laser module. But when parachuting into San Francisco, he uses one fitted with the newer EOTech 553 and AN/PEQ-15 ATPIAL.

Howa Type 89
The Monarch security personnel at the former Janjira nuclear power plant site are all armed with Howa Type 89 rifles fitted with flashlights. Since the movie was filmed in British Columbia, and since the Type 89 was never exported outside of Japan, it is quite likely that the rifles used in the film were airsoft replicas.

Machine Guns
Browning M2 Heavy Machine Gun
The Browning M2 is seen mounted on a US Navy ships, M1 Abrams tanks and US humvees.
As the military personnel load up a nuclear warhead, a U.S. Navy sailor is seen manning a Browning M2
The Navy sailor grips the Browning M2 as the other servicemembers take cover as F-35 fighters fall out of the sky and into the San Francisco Bay.
What appears to be a Browning M2 is mounted on the UH-60 Blackhawk that engages the Muto at the Honolulu Airport.
US Army M1 Abrams tanks with Browning M2 mounted on top the turrets take up positions on the bridge. In reality, these tanks are British Chieftains visually modified to resemble the M1A1 Abrams.
Note the u-shaped splash guard near the driver's hatch and small hatch without periscopes, both very distinct features of these vismod Chieftains.
FN MAG
What appears to be an FN MAG is seen mounted on Army Trucks Inc's ersatz M1 Abrams prop vehicles, which are actually visually modified Chieftain tanks.
On the tank in the front, two machine guns are mounted on the Abrams' turret: a Browning M2 on the left and the FN MAG on the right.
Daewoo K3
The Daewoo K3, standing in for the M249 SAW, is carried by US Army soldiers.
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
SWAT officers in Honolulu are seen using the Heckler & Koch MP5A3 during Godzilla's landfall in Hawaii.
Launchers
M203 Grenade Launcher
Several soldiers have M203 grenade launchers mounted to their M4A1 carbines.
M136 AT4
The M136 AT4 is used by US troops notably on the San Francisco–Oakland Bay Bridge.
The solider on the far left is seen readying the M136 AT4. Several soldiers protecting the evacuees can be seen armed with this weapon, presumably to give them more firepower against Godzilla and the MUTOs.
Mk 19 grenade launcher
The Mk 19 grenade launcher is seen manned in the HQ during a conversation between Dr. Ishiro Serizawa (Ken Watanabe) and Rear Admiral William Stenz (David Strathairn).
