Red Eye is a 2005 American psychological thriller film directed by Wes Craven. The film stars Rachel McAdams as a woman coerced to take part in a plot to assassinate the United States Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security during a red eye flight from Dallas to Miami.
The following weapons were used in the film Red Eye:
Colt M16A2
When the Coast Guard sweeps the yacht outside the hotel, they are armed with M16A2s.
Glock 17
Glock 17s are carried by the Coast Guard and a Secret Service agent.
One Secret Service agent has a Glock. This is incorrect, the USSS doesn't authorize the Glock, they use the SIG-Sauer P229 in .357 SIG. These agents are protecting a lower level VIP, though, so it may be more flexible. Those on the PPD (Presidential Protection Detail) must use the SIG.
FGM-148 Javelin
Terrorist assassins posing as recreational fishermen on a speedboat reel in a case containing an FGM-148 Javelin from the water and use them to blow up the Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security's hotel room.
Even though the $80,000 missile has been used, they still throw away the system along with the $125,000 reusable CLU.
Beretta 92FS
The hitman sent to kill Lisa Reisert's (Rachel McAdams) father is armed with a sound suppressed Beretta 92FS and fires at the windshield of the SUV Lisa stole from the airport before being run over. Lisa's father, Joe Reisert (Brian Cox) later picks it up and uses it to shoot Jack Rippener (Cillian Murphy).
Joe Reisert (Brian Cox) picks up the hitman's 92FS and shoots Rippner for the last time.
