The Fable (Japanese title: ザ・ファブル, Za Faburu) is a 2019 action-comedy film based on the 2014-2019 manga series of the same name by Katsuhisa Minami. The film stars Junichi Okada as "The Fable", a legendary but socially awkward yakuza hitman who is ordered by his superior (Kôichi Satô) to live as a normal civilian without killing anybody for an entire year, with him facing life-threatening consequences if he is discovered to have killed anyone within the year. As the Fable settles into his new identity as "Akira Sato", his life is threatened by figures from the underworld who are trying to find him. The film follows the Fable as he learns to live a normal life, as well as his encounters with the criminals who want him dead. A sequel, The Fable: The Killer Who Doesn't Kill, was released in 2021.
The following weapons were used in the film The Fable (2019):

Fable manages to get his finger on the pistol's trigger. The pistol turns into the Fable's signature Nighthawk in a continuity error shortly after.

Nighthawk Custom M1911A1
The Fable / "Akira Sato" (Junichi Okada)'s signature handgun is a Nighthawk Custom-made Colt M1911A1, which the Fable modifies to fire non-lethal bullets. According to this blog post, the pistol in the film was apparently custom-made using a Tanio Koba GM-7 airsoft pistol as a base. Modifications include the use of 1911 Diamondback grips, a 4 inch chrome slide, and adding Nighthawk Custom engravings, new front/rear sights, and a DCI suppressor barrel adaptor.

Left side of the Nighthawk Custom M1911A1 gas pistol with an attached suppressor, customized to resemble the same pistol in the manga series The Fable.
The Fable holds his Nighthawk after slitting a yakuza thug's throat in the film's opening. Right after this, he fires a stunning 15 shots from his pistol without reloading, an unrealistic number compared to a the average capacity of a compact 1911.
The Fable aims the pistol's frame after modifying it to be able to fire special, non-lethal bullets.
Tokarev TT-33
Kuroshio (Kai Inowaki) is briefly seen with a Tokarev TT-33. Another Tokarev is also seen later in the film.
Walther PPK/S

A yakuza thug holds the revolver. The revolver is misidentified as a "Colt Government Model" a moment later.
