I hate to break it to you butโฆ โฆchances are, you havenโt failed enough to be successful. Plus you probably havenโt learned to view failure as a growth point yet. This speech from Roger Federer is brilliant as he explains 2 crucial elements of his legendary career: โ He won just over half the points that he played for in his long career. โ As soon as he lost a point, made a mistake, or was defeated, he was able to instantaneously move on. ๐ฃ๏ธ โWhen it's behind you, it's behind you.โ ๐ฃ๏ธ โThis mindset is crucial โ because it frees you to fully commit to the next point with intensity, clarity, and focus.โ What a powerful mindset. What a powerful clip ๐

//WHY IS THIS PITCH SOOO GOOD? Is it all about the product? No. It's way more than that! 1. He is fully committed 2. He has Confidence 3. He has pure #energy! Would you believe me if I said: You can learn that too? Here's a short analysis of the video: Everybody can sense that Rener Gracie is in the driver's seat. He is super confident and leads this pitch every second. - He uses #Storytelling to describe the Problem and the Need, with a situation everyone knows and can identify with. - In this way, he can connect on an emotional basis. - He also entertains his audience. He hits the tonality of his audiences perfectly, providing laughs and #engagement without losing the lead. Engagement His storytelling style still ensures engagement from investors. He sets tasks that can't be done (count to 3), generates laughs, and always surprises with new twists. The closing And finally, he also makes it personal and indirectly says something about himself and his values (family, sports, business) with his pitch. - And then he did a great closing with a sticky slogan with a sports-business analogy that doubles and underlines the strong CTA. What are your thoughts on this? Would you believe you can also learn to perform like that? The No. 1 employee motivator isnโt money. (it actually costs you nothing) Workplace negativity costs companies $3 billion per year. And itโs completely avoidable. Two words that can change everything: "Thank you." Think about it: Employees donโt leave jobs. They leave environments where they feel invisible. And when people feel valued, they show up differently. Hereโs what appreciation does: 1๏ธโฃ Boosts morale โ People thrive when their efforts are recognized. 2๏ธโฃ Strengthens loyalty โ Gratitude builds trust, and trust drives retention. 3๏ธโฃ Enhances productivity โ Employees do more when they know their work matters. 4๏ธโฃ Reduces burnout โ Burnout skyrockets when people don't feel valued. 5๏ธโฃ Creates a winning culture โ Teams that lift each other up, rise together. Here's the simple truth: Recognition isnโt about occasional grand gestures. Itโs about consistently making your people feel seen, heard, and valued. Never push a loyal person to the point where they don't care anymore. So, hereโs the real question: When's the next time you can tell someone "thank you"? โป Repost to inspire your network. And follow Eric Partaker for more. P.S. ๐ Enrollment in the second cohort of The CEO Accelerator closes at midnight, January 21, Pacific time / 8am, January 22, UK time. Kobe Bryant shocked an interviewer about Taylor Swift. His mindset (and what it can do for you): They were just chatting about music and big influences like Jay-Z when the interviewer joked: โWouldnโt it be funny if you had Taylor Swift in your carโ Kobe: โI do!โ Way before it was cool for Dads to be Swifties, Kobe was paying attention, studying her career and process. โย Old Way: Only study the best in your field to hone your craft. โ ย New Way: Study greatness across time and space. Be insanely curious about what it takes to be consistently excellent in fields outside of your own. Kobe explained why he studied her (just look at the questions heโs asking himself): โTaylor has been at the top of the game for a very, very long time. How does she get in that mental space to create things over and over? โIt is a lot of pressure to follow up a number one album with a better one. It is unbelievable to pull that off over and over and over. Kobe saw that her success was only going to continue. โYou canโt have that level of consistent success and not be a killer. Itโs impossible.โ โก๏ธย Takeaway Success leaves clues. ๐ Study greatness across industries. Pick up patterns and apply what mindsets, processes, and techniques you can steal to improve at your craft. Who has inspired you outside your industry? Let me know in the comments.๐ โป๏ธ Repost this to share with anyone chasing their dreams. And follow Matt Schnuck for more!

In the past, people were hired and promoted based on ability. In the future, the more valuable currency will be agility. We should bet on people with the motivation to learn and the flexibility to change. From my Q&A at the Oslo Business Forum

21 Brutal Life Lessons That no one prepared you for: Covering critical areas of life such as: - Personal Growth - Relationships - Career 1. People will remember how you made them feel far longer than what you accomplished. 2. Promotions often go to those who donโt just work hard but who also make their efforts visible to decision-makers. 3. In every career, your relationships will open more doors than your CV ever will. 4. Balance is a myth for most successful people. Those at the top have often sacrificed parts of their personal lives to get there. 5. Youโll never be fully ready for most big opportunities. Jump in anyway, and figure it out as you go. 6. Many โdream jobsโ are only dream jobs on the outside. The reality is often less glamorous. 7. Master the skill of clear communication. It will do more for your career and relationships than almost any technical skill. 8. Success in most workplaces doesnโt depend just on skills but on how well you navigate office politics. 9. Aim to be irreplaceable, not just in what you do but in how you do it. Authenticity is harder to replicate than skill. 10. No one really has it all figured out. The most successful people make decisions faster and adapt to failures. 11. Spend more time with people who challenge you to grow, not just those who make you feel comfortable. 12. Your reputation will always follow you. Every small interaction builds or breaks the trust others place in you. 13. You wonโt always get closure from people who hurt you. Sometimes, you have to give it to yourself. 14. Work on your ability to focus deeply. The most valuable skills in the future will require concentration in a world full of distractions. 15. Youโll outgrow people, places, and jobs. And thatโs okay. Holding on too long can lead to inaction. 16. Hard work doesnโt always guarantee success, but a lack of it guarantees mediocrity. 17. People rarely remember your mistakes, but they do remember how you handled them. 18. Your health, especially mental health, will impact your career more than any degree, skill, or networking opportunities. 19. Sometimes you have to choose between being right and being kind. Choose wisely. 20. Invest in experiences and relationships more than in items. They hold greater value in the long run. 21. Networking is not about how many people you know but about how many people truly know you. Whatโs your greatest life advice?ย Share it down below! ๐ โป๏ธ Repost this to help your network win the week!ย And follow Josh S. for more

The myth of "overnight success": It doesn't exist. What looks like luck is usually: โข Years of unseen effort โข Countless failures and lessons โข Relentless persistence Most people: โข See the highlight reel โข Ignore the behind-the-scenes grind โข Chalk success up to "luck" Success is an iceberg. The visible part is tiny compared to what's beneath. Stop waiting for your lucky break and start creating it through your work. Your "big break" is built daily, not discovered. Want to create your own luck? There's not better place than LinkedIn. Here's your playbook: https://lnkd.in/eCub_jUP

You don't need to be 100% qualified. Most job descriptions are wish lists, not checklists. Iโve seen far too many talented people 'self-reject'... Not going after a new job because they didnโt meet every requirement in the description. But guess what? If you show a strong desire to learn and take on challenges, you're already ahead of the pack. ๐ Donโt agonize over checking every single box. Instead, think of what you bring to the table that others donโt... ๐ค Worked across departments = versatile leader ๐ช Navigated a crisis = high pressure performer ๐ Presented regularly = communication pro ๐ Informal mentor = leadership in action ๐ค Volunteer work = values-driven person ๐ก Self-taught skills = continuous learner ๐ผ Side projects = entrepreneurial spirit ๐ Global exposure = high adaptability So, take the leap and apply even when you only meet 75% of the requirements. Because your true growth potential is more about: 1. Your passion 2. Your curiosity 3. Your hunger to learn. โป๏ธ Repost to help your network go after their dream career.
