Summary This is a story of boy meets girl, begins the wry, probing narrator of 500 Days of Summer, and with that the film takes off at breakneck speed into a funny, true to life and unique dissection of the unruly and unpredictable year-and-a-half of one young man’s no-holds-barred love affair.

Visually witty, flawlessly played romantic comedy.
A movie that will be discovered, embraced and shared with friends like a favorite record album.
This is the most impactful movie I've ever seen in my life. I can't even describe the feelings I had while watching this. This hit home so hard for me. Acting and writing were amazing. 10/10
It's a great movie it doesn't have a specific romance trope, it throws away all the basic romance genre tropes and make a masterpiece and it showcases reality though which we can all somehow relate and may learn something too
The film does a lovely job of balancing emotional clarity, formal trickery, pop sweetness, and heartfelt narrative. It is, yes, cute, and it is, yes, quirky. And it is entirely justified, estimable and loveable in being those things.
A funny, seductive, and surprisingly honest dramatization of the ways we snooker ourselves into incompatible love.
The film has an easygoing, inquisitive spirit, heightened by Webb's visual conceits
It's more like a love story in a blender. What is unexpected is the sincerity beneath the modest conceit that, yup, love hurts.
For all its rhetorical whimsy and hipster dressings, (500) Days of Summer is a thoroughly conservative affair, as culturally and romantically status quo as any Jennifer Aniston vehicle.
After watching this movie, I realized this; it captured my perspective. I pursued a girl, tried to talk to her a few times, and after a while it was obvious she wasn't my true love. That's exactly what this movie is about. It captures an honest message. There may be ups and downs in life, including trying to see **** you like is "the one," but the truth is not everything is expected into coming into reality. There isn't really any movie like this. So the movie really moved my heart. It really did.
Solid movie, it's well shot and got a few laughs. This film has a sort of cult following where people swear it is the best thing they have ever seen, but if I'm being honest it just isn't for me. This reminds me of an obscure indie album that blows up. It has value, but isn't great. This will almost always remind people of that one relationship. In reality though, this is not as sad or profound as people make it out to be. I enjoyed watching it, but it doesn't have a genuine feel and the ending feels forced. It was worth a watch, but I can't imagine classifying this as one of the greats.
The movie made me feel uncomfortable because of the chaotic timeline, the love between Tom and Summer is a toxic love.
İnsanların her gün yaşadığı olayı film yapmışlar. Vaktinizi yitirdiğiniz gibi moraliniz de bozulmasın. İzlemeyin.
it would be okay even if it never been shot. felt real uncomfortability while watching. its not even a romcom. good music choice btw.
