A confidently original, engrossing interpretation.

Batman Begins emerges from the darkness and leaves a powerful, lasting impression.

Batman Begingins was a very strong film. I really enjoyed that film. I highly recommend this Batman film

Honestly an underrated masterpiece. Movie with a lot of purpose. Perfect movie to kick off the trilogy. A very mature and elegant way to display the character of Batman while not overshadowing his side as Bruce Wayne. It gives you a that realism and connection with the main character and is a must watch. If you only look at it as a starting movie for a trilogy. It's perfect. You simply can't get more creative and better than that and ending is as beautiful as it gives hundreds of different possibilities for the continuation of the story while also dropping hints for the upcoming movie. Anyone who wants to find purpose in life should definitely watch it and further watch the trilogy, at the very leastit will definitely restore your faith in humanity.

Of course, a Batman movie is nothing without a Bruce Wayne, and, by a mile, Bale is the best of a lot that has ranged from the square-jawed slapstick of Adam West to the more dedbonair stylings of Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer and George Clooney.

In Batman Begins, Christian Bale gives us the best Bruce Wayne that has ever graced the screen.

Burton gives us SuperDude; Nolan gives us Sir Subdued.

There are strong turns by Michael Caine as Alfred the butler and Tom Wilkinson as a ruthless crime boss.

Needs much more energy and kinetic flow -- less dolor and more dolomite.

[SPOILER ALERT: This review contains spoilers.]

Substituting the cartoony campness of its predecessors with gritty realism and a glossy (if souless) Gotham, Batman Begins gives us an incredibly convincing insight into the origins of one of the world’s greatest superheroes, complete with the moral contradictions that make Batman so fascinating.

It was a nice change to see for a batman series of movies that were going down hill. This movie was ok but at least it's not as bad as the ones that were being made before this.

Batman begins is not the superhero movie at all. Quite anomalous and deviated from the original Tim Burton 'Batman' style, Batman in Batman begins is the person, not a hero anymore.

Intriguing origin story, but with a bland and forgettable romance that never seems to take off.
