Oblivion is a technical triumph rather than a philosophical breakthrough, demonstrating how beautifully digital effects can be blended with real people and real sets, demonstrating that neither Tom Cruise nor the 1970s will ever die, and announcing the unexpected arrival of a major science-fiction director.

Oblivion is an absolutely gorgeous film dramatically caught between its aspirations for poetic romanticism and the demands of heavy sci-fi action. After a captivating beginning brimming with mystery and evident ambition, the air gradually seeps out of the balloon that keeps this thinly populated tale aloft, leaving the ultimate impression of a nice try that falls somewhat short of the mark.

Brilliant movie. Don't listen to the critics, great symbolic message open your eyes. and of course m83 superb 10/10 Soundtrack

this is a great game, a fun time, great elder scrolls gaems remind me of akyairm, makes me feel tingling sesetions on my niples and buttocks 8/10

Oblivion is an okay blockbuster, a multimillion-dollar exercise in competence.

A moderately clever dystopian mindbender with a gratifying human pulse, despite some questionable narrative developments along the way.

Without an exceptionally skilled director of actors (such as Cameron Crowe), Cruise can’t dial up much emotion, so the two love interests for his character are two more than he can convincingly handle. He may be at home in the cockpit of a killing machine, but when it comes to displaying his humanity, he’s no Wall-E.

Admirable in its look and style, the film is not unique or exceptional. Nevertheless, given the state of current science-fiction fare, the film does hold its own.

Absent of any sense of self-awareness, Oblivion seems only self-serious, a ponderous mess both misguided and unaware.

Oblivion. They are an effective team. The first thing I want to say is that this is a very high-quality film. Scenery, music, sound are all on top. I also wanted to praise the good play of the actors. In general, the film is fantastically interesting.

The movie looks like it has an interesting script (in fact, it doesn't at all). Average acting. Above average visuals and space design. Poor finale. In general, it's a movie where you don't lose anything but gain nothing when you watch it. The only plus of the movie is that Olga Kurylenko looks great.

Good cinematography, great cast, and okay writing, just the most basic and mediocre story with glimpses of brilliance. Not a bad movie by any means, just a middle of the road Sci-Fi flick.

Didn't understand anything from this movie, plot is super confusing and wasn't explained very well in my opinion. Music is pretty very good, and the cinematography is amazing! Just.. all together I found the movie hard to follow and to understand... maybe it's just me.

I loved the idea of the movie, but it's plot, scenario, actors play is just non interesting. Whole movie is simply boring. If you survive first hour u might survive another but honestly.. these 2 hours gonna be wasted on high budget - low quality cinema. Just to let you know this time could have been spent better
