Limerick City & County Council Limerick is located in the West of Ireland with a population that exceeds 200,000 and is home to University of Limerick and Vistakom, a division of Johnson and Johnson. Sister Cities programs have included art exhibits; student exchanges, rugby tournaments, exchanges of government officials regarding such issues as recycling and urban renewal. The official Sister City agreement was signed on April 23, 1999.
