He said his latest album "Good Old Boys" is about the South. He is from L.A. but his mother comes from New Orleans & his father went to Alabama & L.S.U His mother admires Huey Long. There's a song on the album, which Long co-wrote with Castro Carazo. Tells about some of the other songs on the album and how he gets ideas for them. He said he heard the worst city in America is Troy, N.Y. Writer mentioned Cleveland because he knew that Newman once did a song about the Cuyahoga River catching on fire.
