Just days after admitting he had started to feel anxiety about his status on the NFL's unemployment line, Adams has signed with the Indianapolis Colts.
Adams is a 10-year veteran who started 10 games for the Denver Broncos last season, including Super Bowl XLVIII. He started all 17 games for the Broncos in 2012, setting a career high in tackles with 80.
Adams, 33, joins a young Indianapolis secondary that could use a veteran presence. Adams fills the void left by safety Corey Lynch, who was placed on season-ending injured reserve on Friday.
