Nidagravel 140 gravel stabilisation grids hold gravel in place permanently within a honeycomb cell containment system. The large-format gravel grids can be used for a broad range of applications including car parks, offering a SuDS compliant, free-draining surface that offers a number of benefits when installing in large car parks. In the UK, Nidagravel 140 gravel stabilisers are 1.2m wide x 2m long (2.4 sqm per sheet) the same large format sheet size as our Nidagravel 130 driveway gravel grid. Nidagravel 140 has a sheet thickness of 40mm which is approx 30% thicker than Nidagravel 130, making the sheets slightly more rigid and more robust, making Nidagravel 140 suitable for car parking applications. Nidagravel 140 gravel grids share the same characteristics as Nidagravel 130, but that additional 10mm thickness makes a substantial difference. The Nidagravel 140 stabilisers are more rigid, whilst still flexing sufficiently to follow the contours of the site or sub-base. This additional thickness also increases the volume of gravel required to fill the cells and makes the gravel stabiliser even stronger, giving Nidagravel 140 a very impressive compressive strength of over 400 tonnes per sqm.
