Mobility supports personal independence and when help is needed, the Lakeview School is ready to assist! The Adaptive Seating and Equipment Center at Lakeview School offers state of the art evaluation technology and simulators to assure that the most appropriate mobility devices and seating systems are designed to meet the unique needs of each student for use at school, home and in the community. Established in 1982 as the first program of its kind in New Jersey, the Center also provides assistance and guidance to parents in navigating third party payment systems such as medical insurances and government benefits.

Adaptive seating and equipment professionals are: Certified by the NJ Department of Education Licensed by the NJ Division of Consumer Affairs Certified as Assistive Technology Professionals (ATP) by the Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America (RESNA)
