REHAB FACILITY

Alcohol, drug, and psychiatric rehabilitation facility founded in 1931 at New Canaan, Connecticut. It sports approximately 130 private rooms, full housekeeping, a chapel and gift shop. Most notably, its relative seclusion makes Silver Hill a favorite of troubled celebrities -- it is where Nick Nolte checked in after his 2002 drunk driving arrest made his preposterously dishevelled mugshot a favorite of late-night TV talk shows. Forbes in 2003 indicated that the cost of a stay at Silver Hill is in the area of $1200/day.

NNDB has no affiliation with Silver Hill or any detox or rehabilitation facility.
