Two former best friends and rock-band groupies reunite after two decades apart.
ABSTRACT
Suzette, a middle-aged woman and "wild child" at heart, decides too embark on a road trip to reconnect with estranged ex-best friend and rock-band groupie Vinnie following her loss of employment as a bartender. Picking up emotionally-tortured writer Harry Plummer along the way, Suzette ultimately arrives in Phoenix to find her beloved Vinnie existing in the present day as "Lavinia", a conservative housewife whose forced encounter with her past presents an awkward quandary for her similarly straight-laced husband and children.
