REVIEWS
Review by anonymous (posted on 14-Apr-2006)
Movies such as Cabaret, Broadway, and TV would show off Liza Minnelli's competance as a singer and dancer, but when comparing her acting to her mother's (Judy Garland), this, little known, but a gem of a movie, is by far her best as an actor. In this film she plays an abuse victim, a date burns her face with battery acid, who shares a house with other physically and mentally challenged individuals. She is able to bring the audience through a full range of emotions from laughter to tears. This film is extremely underrated. I highly recommend seeing this wonderful piece of cinema.
