Priscilla Williams and her widowed mother travel to join her grandfather, a colonel in the British Army, serving in the North-West Frontier in British India. Priscilla becomes charms everyone she meets, including captured rebel prince Khoda Khan. A prison uprising leads to the escape of Khan, and Priscilla may be the key to a makeshift peace. Received an Oscar nomination for Best Art Direction.
